A native iPhone field-sales app and management CRM built around the actual workday

SalesPace is one operating system across two surfaces: a native iPhone app reps and field managers use while working, and a web CRM leadership uses to manage pipeline, territory, teams and reporting. The iPhone app is not a web wrapper — its core field workflows are native SwiftUI features using Apple Maps, Core Location, HealthKit, notifications and device permissions.

The five-tab iPhone workflow: Track, Map, Follow-ups, Pace and More

The main iPhone navigation follows the field day. Track controls the work session. Map is where territory and doors are worked. Follow-ups keeps scheduled return activity visible. Pace turns the day into measurable performance. More holds territories, appointments, reports, notifications, team tools, settings, support and account controls.

Every tab follows the active SalesPace workspace. Users who belong to more than one workspace can switch when no work session is active, and their map, follow-ups, reporting and role-aware controls follow the selected workspace.

  • Track — start, pause, resume and end a work session
  • Map — Apple Maps-based door and territory workflow
  • Follow-ups — scheduled appointments, go-backs and follow-up work
  • Pace — personal performance, conversion ratios and recent sessions
  • More — territories, appointments, homeowner data, reports, Career, notifications, team tools, settings, support and account controls

Track: native work sessions with GPS, HealthKit and end-of-day reporting

A rep can start, pause, resume and end a work session from Track. While a session is active, SalesPace records route distance through Core Location and can read step count plus walking or running distance from HealthKit when the user grants access. Background location can keep the route recording during an active session when the app is backgrounded or the screen is locked.

Track also shows current-day field activity, including doors, conversations, go-backs, appointments and sales. When a session ends, SalesPace stores a session report so the rep can review what happened during the day.

SalesPace will not silently end a session while pending route data has failed to sync. If the route still needs to upload, the app keeps the session open and tells the rep to retry.

  • Start, pause, resume and end work sessions
  • Background GPS during an active session with permission
  • Route distance from Core Location
  • HealthKit steps and walking/running distance when authorized
  • Live active time with paused time excluded
  • End-of-session report and recent-session history
  • Route-sync protection before a session is allowed to close

Map: Apple Maps, homeowner pins and fast door dispositions

The native Map tab is built on Apple Maps. Reps can see their current location, search field records, filter by disposition and work the neighborhood through address pins. Quick-disposition mode is designed for the moment between doors: record the outcome without turning every knock into a long CRM form.

A rep can manually add a missing door from the map. Tapping an existing pin opens the full door record, so the map is the entry point into the homeowner workflow rather than just a visualization.

  • Apple Maps with current location
  • Search and disposition filtering
  • Disposition-colored door pins
  • Quick-disposition mode
  • Manual door creation
  • Open the complete homeowner record from the map
  • Location-aware dispositions when location is available

Homeowner and door records: contact details, notes, history and next action

The native door record holds homeowner contact information, address, notes and recorded visit history. A rep can edit first name, last name, phone, email and notes directly from the iPhone.

From the record, the rep can call, text or email the homeowner, open walking directions in Apple Maps and record a new disposition. SalesPace also supports voice-dictated notes using on-device speech recognition when the device supports it.

Appointments, go-backs and follow-ups are scheduled against the same door record. Existing follow-ups can be marked complete or rescheduled, and the prior knock history remains visible when the rep returns.

  • First name, last name, phone, email and notes
  • Call, text and email actions
  • Walking directions in Apple Maps
  • Configurable quick dispositions
  • On-device voice-note transcription on supported devices
  • Appointment, go-back and follow-up scheduling
  • Door history with timestamps and rep attribution

Follow-ups and appointments: keep the second visit from disappearing

The Follow-ups tab is the native queue for work that should happen after the first interaction. Scheduled appointments, go-backs and follow-ups remain tied to the homeowner and address record rather than living in a rep's memory.

When follow-up data cannot be loaded, the app shows the failure and gives the user a retry action instead of presenting an empty list that could be mistaken for nothing due. Appointments are also available from More as a dedicated native view.

Pace: the field metrics the iPhone actually calculates and displays

Pace gives reps a current-day view, a rolling seven-day view, a daily breakdown and recent session reports. The native metrics include doors, conversations, appointments, go-backs, sales, active hours, miles and steps.

Pace also calculates doors per sale, conversations per sale, close rate, conversation rate and appointment rate. Recent sessions show doors, conversations, appointments and sales alongside active time, route distance and step count.

Managers and above can open team activity from Pace. The manager view shows each visible rep's working, paused or offline status plus doors, conversations, appointments, sold, go-backs, active hours, doors per hour and close percentage for Today, 7 days or 30 days.

Career: lifetime field performance that stays with the rep

Career is a native iPhone view for the rep's longer-term SalesPace performance. It shows lifetime doors knocked, conversations, appointments, sales, active hours, miles walked and steps.

The efficiency section adds close rate, doors per sale, conversations per sale, best-day doors, best-day sales, days worked and workspace count. A 30-day trend below the lifetime totals shows recent daily doors, conversations, appointments and sales.

Reports: 7-, 30- and 90-day performance inside the iPhone app

Reports is a native iPhone view under More. Users can switch between 7-day, 30-day and 90-day ranges to see daily performance trends with doors, conversations, appointments, sales, active hours, doors per hour and close rate.

Managers and above also receive team totals by rep, including sessions, active hours and distance alongside the core activity counts. Recent session reports remain available below the trend view.

Territories and routes: native assignment, progress and map views

Reps can open assigned routes for the next seven days and see assignment date, status, territory name and completion count. Opening an assignment displays its saved territory polygon and route path on Apple Maps when those shapes are available.

Managers and above also see team territories with completion percentage and assignment information. They can draw a new territory, edit an existing one and assign territory work natively through the production territory APIs.

  • Rep route assignments for the next seven days
  • Doors-worked completion counts
  • Mapped territory polygons and route paths
  • Manager territory overview and completion percentage
  • Native territory drawing and editing
  • Native rep assignment for managers and admins

Homeowner data: native catalog and order status

Homeowner data is available inside More as a native SalesPace screen backed by the production data-pack APIs. The app shows the currently available packs, the number of homeowner records in each pack and the current price.

The same screen shows the active workspace's own data orders, including order status, requested records, fulfilled records, territory name when present and any fulfillment failure message. That gives the field team visibility into SalesPace-managed homeowner data without leaving the iPhone app.

Manager command center and native team administration

Managers and admins have a role-gated Command Center in the native app. The team activity view shows visible reps, current work status, performance counts, active hours, doors per hour, close percentage, current territory or assignment, last-seen time and goal pace when goal data exists.

Authorized users can open team administration from the same native manager area. The iPhone app also exposes disposition management, and admins can create teams from the app.

Notifications, permissions and device readiness

SalesPace includes a native notification inbox and APNs device registration. Notifications can be marked read in the app. Permission requests are routed through SalesPace disclosure screens rather than appearing immediately on a signed-out launch.

The Device Check screen shows hardware environment, iOS version, Low Power Mode, background refresh, foreground and background location, precise-location state, HealthKit availability, push permission, APNs token status and the current GPS fix.

It also shows live GPS accuracy, latitude, longitude, recorded route points and current route distance so a device-permission problem can be identified before it becomes missing field data.

Account, personal data and support controls are native too

More includes Help & Support plus Account & Data. Help & Support contains native quick-help articles, lets a user open categorized support cases and shows their existing cases inside the app. Users can export their personal SalesPace data to a JSON file from the iPhone and share it through the standard iOS share sheet.

Permanent account deletion is also available with safeguards: an active work session must be ended first, and a sole company Super Admin must transfer ownership before deletion can proceed. Company-owned homeowner, CRM, route, session, territory and commercial records are treated separately from personal account data.

  • Help & Support
  • Personal-data export
  • Permanent account deletion with confirmation
  • Workspace membership status
  • Settings and permission management
  • Device diagnostics
  • Sign-out protection while a work session is active

The web CRM operates on the same SalesPace records

The native iPhone app handles the field workflow, while the web CRM gives managers and leadership denser desktop controls for pipeline, contacts, territories, team management, reporting, integrations and organization administration.

These are not separate products with separate customer records. Field activity written on the iPhone becomes part of the same SalesPace data model the management CRM reads.
